The Ask:

With a new expansion coming to the long-running card game, The Pokémon Company was looking for content that can introduce new players and explain the features of the newest expansion.

Response:

We created a new video series for TPC, the Let's Play Lounge, where our focus was an interview with longtime Pokémon TCG Influencers over the course of a match. Our IGN resident Pokemon expert, Josuha Yael, was out host as we went on location to popular card shops to conduct our match and interview. 

Over the course of the interview, we inquired about the state of the game now, versus the early days. Providing insight on how a new player could jump in. Over the course of the match, we highlighted the new expansion cards, explaining how they refreshed the meta-game.

In our our first episode, we sat down with Frosted Caribou. In the second episode, we were joined by Keith Habersberger . And then Frosted Caribou returned for our third episode. The trilogy of content being released over Q3 and Q4 to keep Pokémon top of mind through out the back half od the year.
